Questions
What is a water flosser?
Water flossers, or oral irrigators, are at-home oral hygiene devices designed to maintain a healthy smile. They include a motor and a pump, which work together to flow pressurized water from the water reservoir through to the tip of the water flosser and into the mouth for an easy, targeted cleaning.
Our cordless water flosser provides you with three pressure settings for your comfort level: pulse (green), normal (red), and soft (yellow). Whichever mode you choose, you'll be able to target specific areas of the mouth and get under the gum line to remove plaque, food particles, and bacteria. Our reusable, anti-bacterial tip nozzles will also allow you to get into those hard-to-reach places, without having to worry about adding germs.
How do I use a water flosser?
Easy-to-use and less messy than traditional flossing, water flossers are a great way to round out your oral care routine. First, attach a tip nozzle to your device and fill the reservoir with warm water. Then, place the tip in your mouth and lean over the sink to allow the water to flow from your mouth into the sink rather than onto your counter. Turn on your device to your desired pressure setting and start flossing! For the most effective technique, you'll want to position the tip of the flosser along the gum line to really remove any plaque, food particles, and bacteria.
Why do I need a water flosser?
Water flossers have made flossing easier and more comfortable. Unlike with string floss, you don't need to put your hands in your mouth and risk adding germs with a water flosser. Plus, the water pressure feature of water flossing can stimulate gum tissue to prevent gum disease and improve overall gum health. Lots of people have switched over to water flossing as it's more convenient, sanitary and provides a more effective, targeted and deep cleaning.
Why is Snow’s Water Flosser better?
Our water flosser is an innovative oral hygiene device with additive capabilities—something other brands don't offer. Now you can improve gum health and whiten your teeth, at the same time! Our water flosser was made to use with Snow’s Teeth Whitening Drops (sold separately) for an extra-whitening boost while cleaning your teeth and gums. Add a few drops to the water reservoir and voila! You'll have pearly whites and happier gums in no time.
Also, compared to countertop water flossers—which can be heavy, bulky, and take up counter space— ours is a lightweight, travel-friendly, portable water flosser. It's also made with anti-bacterial plastic, making it germ-free, easy to use, and safe to take with you on the go.
Should I floss before or after brushing my teeth?
We recommend flossing before brushing your teeth.
Toothpaste contains fluoride which is good for your oral health. If you water floss after brushing, you will also rinse away the benefits of all the goodies added to toothpaste to protect your teeth and gums.
How do I clean my Water Flosser?
1. Nozzle
Press the nozzle plug button, remove the nozzle, clean with water, and then wipe dry.
*It is recommended to replace the nozzle every six months.
*If the tip of the nozzle is deformed, please replace it with a new nozzle immediately.
2. Machine body
Remove dirt with a clean cloth and liquid soap. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. If the body is dirty, wash with water.
*Do not wipe the appliance with gasoline, alcohol, or any
flammable substance.
*Do not use hot water above 100° for cleaning.
*After rinsing with water, dry with a clean cloth.
3. Water tank
Unplug and clean the water tank regularly.
4. Water injection port
Wipe off any dirt or debris to prevent leaking.
Can I share my Water Flosser with someone else?
We don't recommend sharing oral health care products that go into your mouth. We've worked hard to provide our Snow Water Flosser at a price point that is affordable enough for everyone to have their own.
Can I use the Water Flosser with implants, crowns or bridges?
For crowns, bridges, implants, and spaces that tend to trap food and plaque, the Water Flosser is a great tool in addition to your Snow Toothbrush and Snow Floss.
